How it works

Separate a PDF without guessing the result

1. Choose one PDF. The file is checked and previewed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
2. Choose the output. Split after page numbers to make multiple files, or save one page or range as a direct PDF.
3. Review the plan. Each named part shows its exact source pages before you create it. Open the source preview to inspect a group.
4. Create and inspect. Review actual generated pages when preview is available, then download one PDF or a ZIP of separate parts. Open the downloaded file in a PDF reader before sharing it.

A concrete example

What “split after page 2, 5” means

For a six-page document, entering 2, 5 creates three PDFs: pages 1–2, 3–5 and 6. Every page appears once, in its original order. Choose Every page for a separate PDF per page when the source has at most 50 pages.

If you need only pages 2–5, choose Save one range and enter 2-5. That downloads one PDF directly. The range mode does not silently reorder or combine scattered pages.

Preservation and limits

What the new PDFs keep

The tool copies each selected static page instead of turning it into an image. Page dimensions, crop, rotation and the page’s text and image resources are carried into the output. The source is unchanged.

Interactive links are removed. Source-level metadata, bookmarks, attachments and accessibility tags are not promised in the new files. This is not redaction: hidden content inside a copied page can remain. Review the exported PDF before sharing confidential material.

Choose one complete PDF up to 25 MiB and 200 pages. A split can create up to 50 parts with at most 100 MiB of total output. Password-protected, fillable, signed, annotated and active PDFs are not supported; export a static copy first. Very large embedded images can make preview unavailable even when the page can be copied.

Privacy

Your file stays on this device

Parsing, page previews and PDF/ZIP creation happen in your browser tab. The file and its name are not sent to BiznTools, placed in a URL, saved as a draft or used for analytics. Generated files are removed from the tab when you leave or clear the workspace.
