How to combine PDF files
- Choose your PDFs. Add files from your device. The tool checks each one before adding it to the list.
- Arrange the document. Move files up or down. Preview a file, keep all its pages or enter a selection such as 1-3, 5. Rotate a whole file if needed.
- Merge and download. Check the selected page count and filename, then create your PDF. Download it and review the final pages before sharing.
Order that matches your work
Files are combined from top to bottom. Inside each file, the page numbers you enter determine the order. For example, 3, 1-2 puts page 3 first, followed by pages 1 and 2. Leave the field blank to keep every page in its original order.
A three-page proposal followed by a two-page appendix makes five pages. Keeping only proposal pages 1 and 3 and appendix page 2 makes three. The selection total above reflects exactly what will be included.
Local processing, clear limits
The tool reads and combines files in your browser. It does not upload PDFs, send their names or contents to analytics, or save a document history. Clear all files releases the current workspace; refreshing clears it too. Browser history or session restoration may retain a page, so use Clear on a shared device.
Add up to 20 PDFs, with a maximum of 25 MiB per file, 50 MiB combined and 200 source pages. These limits keep local processing manageable. A very complex PDF can still fail or take too long. Use fewer or smaller files if that happens.
What stays, what doesn’t
Text, images and vector page content are copied into the new document. Pages keep their original size and crop; your rotation is added to any existing rotation. The export does not turn pages into screenshots or deliberately recompress their images. File size may change as the PDF structure is rewritten.
This is a static-page merger. It does not preserve bookmarks, attached files, interactive links, document-level metadata or accessibility tags. Fillable forms, digitally signed PDFs, password-protected documents, portfolios and PDFs with annotations or document actions are not supported. Use a full PDF editor for those workflows. Keep the originals.
Combining pages is not redaction, certification or an accessibility conversion. Hidden content already inside a selected page may remain in its content stream. Review documents before sharing sensitive information.
Can I merge PDFs without uploading them?
Yes. This tool processes the PDF bytes locally after the page and its processing files have loaded. Downloading the result is also a local browser action. There is no cloud account or remote conversion service.
Will the merged PDF have a watermark?
No. No watermark, cover page or product branding is added. There is no signup step to download the result.
Can I combine PDFs of different sizes?
Yes. A portrait Letter page and a landscape A4 page keep their own dimensions in the combined file. This tool does not resize them onto a common sheet.
Why was a PDF rejected?
The file may be protected, incomplete, outside the size/page limits, or contain forms, annotations or actions this merger cannot safely carry over. If appropriate for your document, export an unsigned static copy from its original application. Do not discard the original signed or fillable version.
Can I combine Word documents or photos?
This tool accepts PDFs only. For JPEG photos or PNG screenshots, use JPG to PDF first, then download that PDF and add it here. Export Word documents as PDF from their original application. Files do not transfer automatically.
Start with a useful document
Need to create the original first? Make a clear invoice or a work-hours record, then combine the resulting PDF with supporting pages when that helps your workflow. Nothing is transferred between tools automatically.
