Using BiznTools
Corrections
How to describe a problem and how calculation or content errors are investigated.
Make the problem reproducible
A useful report identifies the tool or page, what happened, and what you expected. For a calculation issue, include small invented inputs that reproduce it and your reasoning or a supporting source if known. Include your browser and device only when they help explain an interface problem.
Do not send customer records, account numbers, passwords, confidential accounting files or private business figures. There is no document-upload form here. Contact availability is shown below.
How a correction is investigated
The process is to reproduce the issue, compare the result with the published rules and relevant sources, and establish which cases are affected. A financial correction needs an independently specified expected result and a regression check before release.
The calculation or explanation is then corrected and checked. A material correction should record the affected behavior, what changed and the correction date on the relevant page. A materially unsupported tool may need to be narrowed or temporarily withdrawn.
No response deadline is promised. While an issue is unresolved, check an affected result independently before relying on it.
